Beginner anglers can learn new things while (hopefully) catching some nice fish and advanced anglers can come out and not have to worry about bringing their boats or much (or any) tackle with them.  It’s a win-win.

If you need jigheads, my source for custom ones is Bill Alexander.  He can be reached via phone at (315)520-9820.   His website is http://www.billysmtolures.com  He makes all my laker jig heads as well as ones I use for tying hairjigs and fishing tubes.  You will not find quality jig heads for lake trout vertical jigging at Bass Pro Shops or Cabelas.

Plenty of dates are available in December. Obviously, due to the weather I rarely book much in advance (during the winter months) but any break in the weather can result in some fine fishing.  Lake trout/pike/pickerel on Cayuga;  Pike/Landlocked salmon on Seneca and trout on Skaneateles are all possible.  We also do get our share of bonus salmon/browns and even a few rainbows on Cayuga throughout the winter!
