Cayuga Lake out of Myers 8/26

Reports

Guided a full day starting just after 7:30 am with Mark and Bud.  Fishing was a bit slow to start with two lakers landed during our first hour or two.  The bite got going good during the midday period and another 4 fish were landed in short order.  On the day ten fish were landed. Some good ones were lost as well.  Fish ran to 30″ long.  The guys were part of a bigger group split up in my boat and Rick’s.  Rick and his buddies did well too.  They also landed a nice rainbow and almost had a good brown.  Fish tend to be running from around 80′ or 85′ on out to over 100′.  Baitfish are all over the place.  Very few boats are out on the water this time of year.
