Cayuga Lake out of Myers 8/7
Guided Alain and his son Alex for a full day starting just after 6:30 am. The wind forecast for light winds was wrong and we dealt with fairly stiff southerlies at times. The fishing was very good throughout the day with every area we fished producing some hits and most areas producing fish. The guys landed around 16 lake trout with their catch anchored by Alain’s 30″er and a couple around 28″ – 29″. Quite a few of the fish fought great -very strong. It was a fun day. This is probably the best time of year to be able to catch lakers throughout the length of Cayuga Lake.
