Cayuga Lake out of Myers 9/4 am
Guided Elias and his dad Yuri (I hope I spelled that right) today for a 1/2 day starting around 7 am. The laker bite was a little slow to start but Yuri managed to hook a good fish in short order that eventually came unbuttoned. The bite gradually picked up but never really caught fire. Overall the guys did well on the day with 8 nice fish landed including a couple real solids – a 28″ and 30″. Elias has his own brand of plastic shads and they worked very well for him. He has a popular YouTube channel and got some good footage today. I will put up a link to it once he gets it uploaded. Around 85′ to 100′ was best for us. Beautiful day to be out!
