Cayuga Lake out of Myers Park 10/3 AM

Reports

Guided Jim for a 1/2 day AM trip. It was good to see him – he’s been booking trips since I started my guide service back in 2005! Despite the forecasts for sun and southwinds 5 to 10 mph, we spent the entire AM with south winds around 13 mph gusting up to 18 mph! The bite was tough. Jim was happy to nab a solid 27.5″ laker. He had a few other hits and some chases but that was it. I chalk it up to a combination of the weather/winds/front and fish also starting to spawn. We fished up north and south of Taughannock a bit in order to avoid the spawners as best we could.
