Cayuga Lake out of Myers Park 8/17

Reports

Guided a full day with Mark I.  We tried some areas for rainbows/salmon/browns with one good hook-up (from what was probably a rainbow or salmon) and one follow from a small brown.  A few other hits were had that were likely rainbows or salmon.  The lake trout were very cooperative today and Mark had some good to excellent fishing for lakers averaging 24″ to 27″ – it was a solid double-digit day with fish biting all day long.  Best colors were whites.  The water clarity is very good – nice and clear with no signs of algae in most areas.  We have finally received some much-needed rain in the area over the past couple days, although we could certainly use more.

My availability post is up to date in the reports (scroll down after clicking “reports.”)  August is completely booked up.  A handful of dates remain open in mid-to-late-September and then we’re onto October/November/December.
