Reports

My day was made this morning when I got a text from my Angling Zone friend Jeff and saw that Governor Cuomo had eased restrictions on private marinas and launches.  Common sense prevailed!  The more options open, the less the crowding.

I was going to cease doing reports while a couple launches remained open (like Myers) just to prevent them from being closed due to heavy use, but there’s no need for that now.  I was also getting ready to start scouting some area creeks for mayfly activity.  No need to do that now either.

Lake trout activity remains good to excellent both deep and shallow in Cayuga Lake.  I was out there on Friday with my buddy Todd and we wound up making a long run out of Myers north to past Long Point.  We had some good deep action, though it wasn’t easy.
