Cayuga Lake 8/14 AM

Reports

Guided Bill and his sons Bill Jr. and Tim for a half day starting at 6:30 am. The laker bite was hot and heavy to start and didn’t let up for the first hour or two. Then we had a steady pick over the next couple hours. The guys landed 16 solid fish – all lakers. We didn’t see a boat on the lake over the first couple hours. Late August fishing on Cayuga Lake is tough to beat. Most people take their vacations from late June through early August. It’s like post-Labor Day out there. Whites, white with a chartreuse tail and limetreuse have all been productive.
