Guided Mark I. for the full day starting just after 7:30 am. Our early bite was somewhat slow to start. Mark nabbed one fish in fairly shallow water under the windy, very changeable conditions. Eventually a couple more fish came to the boat. He had to really entice the fish, as they were not committing for the most part. As the day went on, the bite got better and better. He wound up hitting double-digits and easily missed/dropped another dozen or more fish, although the "missed/dropped" fish did not grab great.
I'm betting that there's a large bass tournament going on tomorrow because bass boats were flying all over the lake today. Anyhow, fish came from 35' to 85' of water today on a variety of colors. Another solid day on Cayuga - let's hope this keeps going!
Sunday (6/22) is open for trips and I expect good fishing! My next opening after that is July 1st.
