Cayuga Lake out of Long Point 7/20 AM

Had some very good to excellent action today with Onur and his wife Mary.  Mary wanted to start at 6 am to "beat the heat" so that's what we did.  The early start was a wise move with the full moon overhead.  The AM bite was hot with a good bunch of big fish (27"+) coming to the net including a double or two.  Best fish was a 32" laker.  Around 9 fish were landed in the AM with a few others dropped.  It was a fun morning.  Best bait was the 3.25" white Lunker City Shaker with a chartreuse tail.  The algae bloom continues but at least it doesn't appear to be getting worse.  Hopefully it'll clear this week with cooling air temperatures at night.
