Guided George and his sons, George Jr. and Andrew, for what has become an annual trip for quite a few years now. George has a place on Keuka Lake and we were first out there years ago before his boys were both old enough to do a trip. Today wound up being a terrific day and the guys caught the most fish we'd ever had during one of our 1/2-day trips. Lakers were hitting hot and heavy for the first couple hours of our trip. We had a slight lull, and then the action picked up again. George Jr. caught a chunky brown and a 25" gorgeous rainbow. Lakers were taken up to over 29" and we had some wild fish in the mix. I kept busy re-tying and adding new leaders to outfits throughout the morning. We had a terrific double-digit half-day with one momentary double hooked. We never got a photo of the rainbow - George bobbled it and instead of letting it whack its head on the gunnel, I gave it a push so it landed in the water. I took a few photos of the more exceptional fish.
