Cayuga Lake out of Myers Park 8/18 AM

Guided Alek and Phil today for a half-day trip starting just after 7 am.  We got off to a good start with Alek nabbing a big 28"/29" (I can't remember exactly...) laker on his second drop of his jig.  It fought great! After that, Phil landed a couple.  Then it was back to Alek.  Action was fair in the morning, then died down for maybe an hour and then picked up again to a fair pace.  Phil also caught a nice 23" brown and we had a few other lakers as well as a few dropped fish.  Best colors today were white/chartreuse tail and black.  I think we had 7 fish on the morning.  No rainbows or salmon today.  We fished around 85' to 125' today.

This Wednesday, Friday and next Wednesday remain open, then we're onto September.

Alek's big laker to start our trip!

Phil's first on the day

Nice chunky brown trout that was suspended over deep water

Another chunky laker for Alek
