Seneca Lake out of Geneva 9/14 AM

Guided a half-day trip starting just before 8 am this morning.  Bob joined me for the second time in two years.  Prior to that, he was out with me back in 2006!  So it was a long break.  He was joined by his wife Yolanda.  Apart from us, one bass boat went out of the state launch today - that was it.  It was a beautiful cool, crisp fall day with north winds around 8 to 12 mph, occasionally gusting to 16 or 17.  Fishing started out slowly but after an hour or so, we started boating some lake trout.  All in all, it wound up being a very good double-digit day with the best trout being a couple of 27.5"ers.  We had a few wild fish in the mix as well.  White/Chartreuse was the color for us today.  I cleaned a bunch of fish today and they hadn't been eating too much lately - fish averaged one or two alewives each.
