Here’s what I have open moving forwards.  Keep in mind, deep lake trout jigging is typically in peak form in April, Keuka Lake lake trout fishing also is top-notch for both casting and jigging, depending on the conditions and lastly, Seneca Lake usually fishes (for both fly-fishing and gear fishing) well for salmon and occasional browns throughout this timeframe too!

As a “warning” – although many of these dates are nearly upon us, I did not check the forecast before posting these openings.  Strong (e.g., 15 mph+) south, north or even west winds are a no-go for deep jigging on Cayuga Lake.

March:  3/29, 3/31.

April:  1st – 4th, 6th – 8th, 10th, 13th, 15th – 18th, 20th – 22nd, 24th – 27th, 30th.

Most dates are open from May onwards!
