Cayuga Lake 8/18

Reports

Jigging continues to be superb here. Guided Leo and Ada for a full day (actually we wound up over an hour early) and they landed around 15 or 16 lakers to 31″ (over 11lbs) and one rainbow around 25″ (that was released.) Fish are moving around a lot and a hotspot one day can be slow the next so it pays to keep trying different areas. Boat traffic is minimal. We did well with white Shakers with a chartreuse tail, all white Shakers and limetreuse Shakers too. The weather was much better than forecast – we never had a drop of rain.
