Cayuga Lake out of Long Point 10/6 AM
Guided Kevin, Joe and Josh for a 1/2 day starting just after 8 am. The laker bite started out promising with everybody having some hits. Kevin wound up landing three nice 26″ to 27″ fish in fairly short order. Joe also nabbed a nice fish around 23″. A few silver fish had chased in the jigs as well. The bite really slowed down for us after the second hour of the trip. We tried some different areas and baits but fish clearly were a bit “off.” I expect reasonably good laker action out of Myers/Taughannock now too. Water temp was 65 on top. Fish came from 90′ to 120′.
