Cayuga Lake out of Myers Park 7/28 AM
Guided Tom and Joe for a 1/2 day starting around 7 am. Very few boats were out today and we were the only boat trailer in the parking lot at Myers all morning. We made a good run north and the guys had some good fishing and fair catching for lake trout. Joe got things started with two solid fish. A trip to the west shore resulted in Tom nabbing a couple nice lakers then Joe wound things up with another fish. A lot of hits were had and a few other hookups had as well. Most of our luck came from 80′ to 100′ FOW.
Overall plenty of fish and bait were around today and I expect fishing to get better by the day this week. Looks like we are finally going to dry out a bit. I’ll believe it when I see it!
