Cayuga Lake out of Myers Park 7/30

Reports

Guided Ron and his daughter Rachel for a full day. Jigging was very tough for us for the first two hours with a few short hits and not much else. Our second area was much more productive and the fishing was top-notch for much of the AM. It tapered off a bit by around 11 am but the bite remained fairly steady. At least 20+ fish were hooked today and ten landed. A nice brown was almost hooked as well. Lakers ran up to 28″ and were in good condition. The usual whites did the best for us today. Fish ran from 65′ or so out to 90′. If this weather remains stable or at least typical for August we should have a banner month.
