Cayuga Lake out of Myers Park 7/7
Guided Ron for a full day starting just after 6:45 am. The bite wasn’t easy today. I covered a lot of water and I had Ron fish hard in search of active fish. He wound up having a good day with 9 lakers landed along with a chunky 21″ brown and a 23″ salmon as bonus fish. All fish were released today.
Heavy rains dumped in some debris around Salmon Creek and Taughannock Creek. There were some nasty waterlogged logs floating around, so beware! We have more rain on the way. No signs of any algae blooms and the water clarity remains good, however there were some good stretches of muddy/murky water around.
As of now, this weekend remains open for trips.
