Cayuga Lake out of Myers Park 9/27
Guided Mark I. here for a full day today getting underway just after 8 am. Fishing was fair to start then quickly picked up steam and was good to very good until the end of the day for the most part. Mark had a solid double-digit day with lake trout running to 31″ long. He lost a nice rainbow that picked up a jig of his on the fall, but then an hour or two later, he watched as a nice 24″ bow grabbed his jig boatside! Fish came from around 70′ of water out to 120′. Best plastic colors were black, chartreuse silk, alewife and also white/chartreuse tail. It was a beautiful day to be out on the lake. Lake surface temperatures are around 65 – 66 degrees. Boat traffic was very light.
Nice 29" laker!

31" lake trout!
