Owasco Lake 9/18
Great fishing continues on Owasco Lake! We were the only boat out there for a while. It was quite windy this morning as I headed out with Jim and Nancy. The lake trout bite wasn’t spectacular, but it wasn’t bad at all. They landed around 5 or 6 nice lakers. Then Jim landed a nice rainbow around 24″! The bass fishing was impressive and Jim got one around 14″. Nancy nailed a 20.5″ beauty (which was bigger than any they’d caught before at Dale Hollow!), an 18″ fish and a couple 17s, and a 15 (if I remember right). Bass came via some cool techniques that I’ve been working on. Nancy did a great job figuring out some tricks of her own. All her fish came in around a half hour period. Bait is all over the place.
