Skaneateles Lake 11/3
Got out on Skinny from around 8 am till 3 pm with my friend Chris. Water temps are 53 degrees and the docks were still in at the State Ramp. Shore fishers are catching some rainbows and salmon, so it’s begun! We worked tube jigs, stickbaits, jigging spoons, drop-shot rigs and a few other tactics. We landed a decent number of bass, some nice perch (including a 16″ behemoth!) a couple lakers (nice job Chris) and a few rockbass.
Fishing was good with fairly steady action throughout the day. Now’s the time to fly-fish for rainbow trout and landlocked salmon!
