Cayuga Lake out of Myers 8/12

Reports

Guided Will for a full day of jigging.  He had solid action today landing lakers up to 31″.  He also nabbed a solid brown and a nice landlocked salmon.   Around 1/2 dozen fish were landed on the day and a large laker was dropped before we got a look at it.  Not much new to report.  Boat traffic was light. The algae bloom is mostly over and water clarity is good.  Lakers are throughout the lake and many are in their usual August/September areas.

My pal Mike hit Canandaigua Lake last Thursday and reports some good to excellent lake trout action over there lake wide.  It’s a great time to be fishing the Fingers!
