Cayuga Lake out of Myers 8/18

Reports

Did a full day trip with Tony and his boys, Paul and Kyle.  They were last out with me back in 2012 for a good 1/2 day trip.  The boys were around 10 and 12 years old back then and now one will be finishing high school and one will be in college this fall.  Time really moves. We had a slow first hour or two of fishing but action picked up nicely and held out for most of the day. Nothing really hot and heavy but excellent fishing with one double and fairly steady action. Top laker was around 30″+ and wild.  We had a 27″ rainbow too!  Total on lakers was around 17 plus the rainbow and one other laker that managed to slip off at the net.  We kept a couple lakers today.  A fair number of boats were out today but in general the boat traffic was pretty light for most of the day until maybe 1 pm.  Storms began popping up and we headed in a 1/2 hour early.  Everyone was very satisfied with the tremendous fishing.
