Cayuga Lake out of Myers 8/8
Guided a 1/2 day trip with Jeff and Dave. Fishing was very good today with ten solid lakers landed, five of which were in the 8lb to 10lb range. Dave does some great smoked fish with some real distinct flair and that’s where the fish will be going. Had a great time with the guys and it’s nice to see the algae bloom starting to go away. Very few anglers were out today.
After the trip I went out with my buddy Todd for a couple hours. He had some good follows from some solid salmon. I nabbed a 27″+ laker that Todd’s family will be enjoying on the grill tonight. Weather conditions changed and we were able to make a quick run back in and beat a line of severe thunderstorms with minutes to spare! Not a good day to be “sleeping at the wheel.”
