Cayuga Lake out of Myers Park 8/15 midday
Due to the weather, today I started my trip with John and his nephew Kevin at just after 9 am. During the entire 1/2 day trip, we never saw another boat on the water today fishing. We wound up having a decent day today with a 1/2 dozen nice lakers landed up to 31″ long. A few fish were lost as is usually the case. The bite was ok in the AM, then slowed for a while, before picking up again about an hour before we called it a day. Young Kevin (16 y.o.) had the hot hand for much of the day, although John nabbed a couple good fish towards the end of the trip. Kevin lost a good laker and what was probably a good rainbow as well. Fun albeit wet day!
