Otisco Lake 11/8 midday

Reports

Guided Greg again for tiger muskies, getting underway just past 10:30 am.  It was cold outside and I don’t believe the temperature ever got above 39 degrees out on the lake.  The wind stayed down, which helped us stay warmer, but that usually doesn’t help the musky bite.  With that being said, Greg still managed to nab two tiger muskies – both young fish around the 23″ mark.  No follows or hookups from any other fish today.  The lake still looks great and a few other boats were out.  We saw what was likely a bald eagle, along with a loon or two in fall plumage.  Water temperature was around 50 degrees.
