Owasco Lake 6/19 AM

Reports

Got out real early again – 5 am with Wayne and his son Josh.  The guys like eating pike/walleyes so we gave the lake a shot. We had perfect conditions today and the guys did a great job with the fish.  Wayne got bit after maybe 15 minutes and after a good fight landed a 28″ walleye that was 6 1/2lbs.  Not long after, Josh got a great hit near the boat and landed a 36″ northern pike that weighed 11 1/2lbs.  Very solid fish!   Around a half hour after that, Josh nailed another walleye at 27″.   A couple more nice northerns followed that we released – a 31″er and a 29″ – both nice healthy looking fish.  A few bonus perch and a rockbass rounded out the day.  Water temp was around 68 to 70 if I remember right.

36" 11lb+ pike and 28" 6.5lb walleye

27" Walleye for Josh

Another good pike

And still one more - a 31"!
